The artist reserves the right to modify, edit, crop and display her works on her social media or website, for past, present and future promotional proposals.
The artist reserves the right to use her works for past, present or future commercial proposals.
III. About the rates
The payment of the work will be made in two equal parts, one in advance and the other when the work is finished just before the final delivery.
Once the nature of the assignment has been discussed, I will attach an approximate budget to the email. This way you will decide if you want to proceed.
If you wish to continue, the first half of the agreed fee will be paid. From there I will start working on the illustration. Once the work is finished, the final payment will be made and it will be delivered.
IV. About the price
I work Color Illustrations, offering a pack with this content:
The price of the illustration will be determined according to its complexity (number of characters, level of finish, degree of color if any…). The pack includes a character + background + video of the color process.
The price for detailed background and alternative versions depends on the detail required (to consult).
Disclaimer: Video quality may vary from one to another, please keep in mind that I’m still learning how to do it better.
Private commissions
I prefer to work commissions that I can show in my gallery, but if you want your commission to be truly private, keep in mind that a private work has an additional charge.
The fee for a private work will also apply to those who had not requested a commission as private when they hired me and later request the removal of their commissioned piece from my social networks.
In both cases, the rate will be reflected in the total cost of said order.
V. About the order process
Once confirmed that your idea has been selected for the job, the process is as follows:
1st Meeting with the client: A briefing will be agreed with all the elements to take into account (idea of the work, size, format, type of file, price, range of modifications…)
2nd partial payment: Half of the payment will be requested in advance to the account number that will be provided.
3rd Sketch and modifications: In this phase, two sketches and modifications will be developed to adapt and define the concept. It is important to come to a clear idea at this point as it will not be possible to request changes once this step is finished. Concept changes requested from this point carry an additional surcharge.
4th Lineart and color: Once the idea is defined, the process of lineart and color of the work will proceed, producing the piece in Final Art. Once finished, a low resolution sample will be delivered to the client for confirmation.
5th Final payment: Once the client confirms the result of the work, the second part of the payment will be made.
6th Delivery: Finally, once the payment is received, the requested Final Art files will be sent to the client.
Once you’ve seen the first sketch, it’s time to submit feedback and request changes (if any).
I will evaluate if the required changes increase the price or not (generally these changes do not have any charge).
I will start working on the sketch after receiving the first payment.
Once you have accepted the sketch I will continue with the color. Changes will no longer be accepted unless I have overlooked any requested details.
You can ask about the progress at any time and I will provide you with images so that you can check the good progress of the work.
SAW. About delivery time
Each order normally takes me between 4 and 10 days depending on the complexity of the work. Once the first payment is received, a date will be assigned on the agenda in order to dedicate the required time and thus obtain an optimal result.
VII. About cancellation and refund policy
I always send the rough sketch assuming that we are going to work together, but once you have received the sketch if you do not want to continue, you should assume that the cost of the work done has been covered with the first payment.
I do not accept refunds when work is in progress. Commissioning a work of art is not like reserving an item, the production process is completely personalized, it requires a long time to think and look for inspiration, then you work on one or several sketches and finished drawings.
If there are any issues during the process we can talk and discuss it, but I will only consider a refund in extreme cases. In any case, the cost of the work already carried out is fully or partially covered with the first payment depending on the point at which the work process is located.
Keep in mind that I (the artist) can cancel the commission in case the client’s behavior is inappropriate, rude or disrespectful at any time, implying the corresponding refund with deduction costs.
